A young extraterrestrial lost on Earth finds an ally in a wheelchair-bound boy, and in friendship, they find magic and a sense of where they belong. It transcends its obvious ineptness and badness to become something strangely watchable and entertaining but for all of the wrong reasons.
Now, Mac and Me gets all sappy, with Eric apparently killed in the explosion, even though (due to bad special effects) it looks like it didn’t even touch him. Although Mac And Me isn’t the biggest box office bomb of all time, it’s definitely on the shortlist.
